A new book by Birna Kleivan dealing with the
history of the photobooth (from 1889 until today) and photobooth art called "Behind the Curtain
- 100 years of photobooth imagery", publishing house - JOURNAL. It will be out hopefully sometime in 2007/8.

New York, USA: 25th Aug: Bubby's, Hudson St / 26th Aug, Deno's Wheel, Coney Island - Mixup, Herman, Claire, Alice & Sam do a few old style photobooth strips in the ever difficult to find public access machines that are left in the big apple.

Photomaton (A contempary survey of photobooth art) -Bern Boyle 1987. This is a must. Catalogue covering the work of 13 boothers.

Foto-Fix - Rolf Behme 1996. An excellant 30 page document (in German), art, history and overview.

Found Photos - Dick Jewell 1978 (revised edition 1981). As the title suggests and with a 100 pages of 70's mugshots you can't be without it.

Photobooth collages - Liz Rideal 1990. 32 page catalogue featuring work of an undoubted master.

Don't try this at home - Dave Navarro & Neil Strauss - 2004. Dave used a photobooth in his house to document his life and friends.

Phil and Me - Amanda Tetrault - 2004. Featuring 12 pages of photobooth images from 1975 onwards. Featured on the front cover too.
